New Wallpaper

I'm so so excited to show some of my new wallpaper! Recently I switched manufacturers, and the new printer does such an amazing job, that when I received his first samples I was completely stunned by how gorgeous these prints were. The new wallpaper is printed on a wider stock: 24" and 27" depending on the design. The printing process is digital latex printing on an HP printer. The result is stunning. What's more, now I can use Pearlized and Mica papers as well as Matt paper for my designs. I feel like a kid in a candy store!! I have some brand new designs to show: The Seahorse, which I have in three different colour ways, Pink, Blue and Stone, and the Clockwork, which is available in Steel, Gray, Brown and Gray on a Champagne Mica paper. The Pearlized and Mica papers have a slight, subtle sheen, but they're not shiny like a Myler wallpaper would be. I also redid the colours for the Dragonfly wallpaper and it's available on the new Pearlized stock in Yellow and Blue. The Koi Silver got an upgrade, and now it does have a nice shimmer on the Pearlized stock. And the best thing is, that I can actually change the colours if none of these versions suit your home - my printer has no minimums. Depending on your d├ęcor, now you can print these designs in any colour, even get a custom wallpaper designed just for you!

I still have the older stock available (some ready to be shipped). I found a new printer to print on the pre-pasted 18" stock as well, if you prefer the nonwoven, easy to hang aspect. The pre-pasted is also strippable, so it's ideal if you're renting your home, as you can remove the panels in one piece.

Both the new paper stock and the older pre-pasted nonwoven stock are untrimmed. To hang them, you need to overlap the panels, which can be double cut for a perfect seam.

IDS Summary

The Interior Design Show was over a week ago. It was a lot of preparations and a lot of overhead, but it's done!! I'm deeply grateful for Ed's help. As always, he was helping me in every way he could. Thanks Hon! :-) I was also lucky to find a great guy to take all my stuff to the show and help me set the booth up. If anyone needs a "man with a van", who is smart, helpful, CALM and has great rates, let me know! I can highly recommend him.

The Gala Night at the IDS was fun, a lot of colourful personalities, wine, nice dresses and displays. Ed was with me, so I was able to run around a bit and saw half of the show. It was nice to get decked out. Finally, I got to wear my long dress from Melanie Lynne, which I bought years ago! In the background there is "Liz". Most people thought she was great, but a couple of them were freaked out by her, thinking she was a real person. At the end, I think her dress  was a success. It was a ton of work, cutting gluing, stapling and velcroing. It was made of over 350 strips of wallpaper (I used misprinted wallpaper, because it's very strong), which I covered with yarn. I'd never seen so much glue before! My booth neighbours were great. Just to list some of them: Archilume, Galerie-Co, Drake Wood Design, Kyle Megill, Madoc Rocks, Totem Rugs, Tony Koukos and Studio La Beaute.

People loved my new rugs and wallpaper. Stay tuned for images coming soon!
