Fearless Decorator Feature: Vivian Reiss

I found this amazing lady while researching maximalist interior design online, and I was instantly drawn to her vibrant work and lively, colour filled interiors. Vivian Reiss is a New York born artist of Hungarian origins living in Toronto and New York. Reading her biography, I noticed, that we had a lot in common. I'm also Hungarian, and I also have a dance background, I also love gardening, and of course we both love color and pattern.

I live in a city, where the colour scheme of most interiors is restricted to various shades of gray and beige, so it was refreshing to read an article in the Globe and Mail about Vivian's exquisite home, inspired by her extensive travels, Art Nouveau, filled with bold colours, rich textiles and vivid and abundant artwork which she painted herself.
