Blue and Orange Living Rooms

Blue and orange are on the opposite sides of the colour wheel, making them complementary colours. Complementary colours provide high contrast when placed next to each other. I love the orange-blue combination, because even though blue can be so sophisticated and muted, when you add orange, it becomes a welcoming playground for this lively punch of colour providing a nice balance between reserved and playful.
